Pneumonia Vaccinations
Pneumonia vaccinations are also advised for these patient groups; unlike the flu vaccination which is given annually, the pneumonia vaccination is only given once. Appointments can be made by contacting reception.
Pneumococcal Vaccinations
Everybody aged 65 and over should now be immunised to help protect them against pneumococcal infection which can cause diseases such as pneumonia, septicaemia (blood poisoning) and meningitis. Please contact the surgery during September to make an appointment if the above applies to you.
